# Explore the Solana staking network

> Explore is live, replacing the Network page and giving every validator on Solana its own page. Compare validators on take rate rather than commission, and check a per-epoch record of incidents before you stake.

Canonical HTML: https://app.marinade.finance/learn/explore-the-solana-staking-network/

Explore is live. It replaces the old Network page and gives every validator on Solana its own page.

## Take rate, not commission

![Explore validators table showing take rate, net APY and 30-day stake trend per validator](https://public.marinade.finance/learn/explore-the-solana-staking-network/explore-validators-table.webp)

Commission on its own doesn't tell you what a validator keeps. Take rate combines the cut taken from inflation rewards, Jito tips and block rewards into a single number, so you can compare validators on what they actually cost you.

The validators table sorts on any column, filters down to what you care about, and shows a 30-day stake trend per row.

## A track record you can check

![Validator page activity section listing past incidents epoch by epoch](https://public.marinade.finance/learn/explore-the-solana-staking-network/explore-validator-activity.webp)

Every validator page carries its history, not just today's numbers. Activity shows past incidents epoch by epoch, including major downtime, vote lagging and sandwiched transactions. Below that you get stake concentration, client and version, location, and charts for total stake, net APY and take rate.

## Next up

Two more views are coming: Providers, which breaks the network down by hosting provider, and Clients, which breaks it down by validator client. Both show where stake is concentrated and how that has shifted over the past 7 and 30 days.

After that, staking directly with any validator on Solana, from its own page. Pages already highlight which validators run protected staking rewards, so you can see what you're getting before you stake.

## Try it

Go to [app.marinade.finance/explore](https://app.marinade.finance/explore), or open any validator page directly.
